You said earlier your jump started the car on several occasions.
Bad, very bad for the OVP.
1) Check the fuse on your OVP.
2)You have a multi-meeter? What is the battery voltage with the car not running?
It should be +/- 12.5 volts. If not, disconnect the battery from the car and put it on the battery charger until it is fully charged.
Once the battery is fully charged, reconnect the battery cables.
Start the car.
With all accessories off, engine running at fast idle, voltage should be between 13.8 and 14.2 Volts. If so, your charging circuit is functioning properly., your problem lies somewhere else.
Check all battery cables, battery ground
