I got bad results with the boots on an axle at autozone... The boot bursted within a year.
On another car I had installed O'reilly reman axles and they are holding beautifully after 2 years and almost 20000miles.
Parts store axles i would say are mixed bag...O'reilly's were even cheaper than AZ. at just under 100 dollars a pop if they last more than 5-6 years i consider myself served . OEM at above 400 bucks is too expensive (OEM must last 25+years to be competitive as pay time!). It took me 3 hours to do both half-axles on W123's.
