No. No. Not true at all. Not at all.
Yes - They do sell/auction some very fine automobiles. Often at prices that many can not afford. But you’ve obviously been watching the highlight shows.
If you’d go through their results listings for each day, you’ll see that many (as in most) of the cars sold are going for less (a lot less) than what you probably paid for that 560. They will run through lot numbers by the dozens, that 80% of which don’t break 25K. Of the first 25 lots, most were in the teens or 4 figure range. Of the first two days (480 lots) very few were beyond the 50-60K range. Most in the 20s.
Go to the site and see for yourself. It’s not at all “top of the line and ultra rare stuff” like you think.
