so just for fun i click on the green gecko ad for an auto insurance quote.

geico wants to charge me half of what i am paying now (to state farm) for the same coverage.

i suppose being married to an accountant plus me getting my masters put in a 'safer' category. i guess it would be silly to assume state farm would actually lower my rate.

so what's the catch? is there one? would my state farm agent laugh if i asked him to lower my rate?
