i used to use fancy set back stats in my house and office. i found that they were problematic. after a few problems with them i replaced them with simple manual everything stats. i set them up or down when i want and they very seldom create a service call or a problem.

the savings in fuel is all lost in one service call in maybe five years. if they last that long.
