If it were workable for both parties, I could loan use of my garage in the Tacoma, WA area as a place to work on said car. It's not TOO far from Vancouver, BC, but it is a bit of a drive.

For that matter, I'm not adverse to finally making a trip up into BC, but haven't had the chance yet.

I would think that either route would avoid the CA-US shipping bit.
