I recently purchased a nice 1972 220D, which has a broken antenna mast. The cable has also been badly spliced, so that a replacement is needed. Does anyone know how to remove/replace the right front fender mounted antenna? The only access that I can see is a hole about 1" diameter that the cable passes through the inner fender wall into the car.
