i hate that limited slip junk. It got me stuck even more heh. Umm the alternator is actully only like a month old. BUt i assume its bad because someone on here told me to try taking the Neg battery cable off and leaving the headlights on. If the light go out, the alternator is not doing its job, if they stay on, its supposedly ok. but who knows, its to cold to mess around with it now, So im stuck driving my 240D in the nasty snow and salt
