I'll make a comment.

Are you talking the high pressure hose or the return line???? THe return line you can buy a meter of hydraulic line from even the dealership(stock item about $15). loosen hose clamps and R&R just like a radiator hose. Don't use raidator hose as it won't hold up to the hydraulic fluid. MB line is a bit bigger than most American stuff, so make sure you have a piece if hunting at a hydraulic shop.Expect the hose to cost $2-5/ft.

For the high pressure line it is crimped on. All hydraulic shops can reuse your old fittings and replace the hose. Never done a power steering hose as it's ussually the return line that leaks or weeps. But they've done many a/c lines for me. Some prefer to weld on new end-fittings as they can assure a better clamp up in the crimp as all parts are spec'd together. Others will carefully cut the old crimp, and strip the hose.
