Non-Turbo to Turbo

KBCB,

An intercooler cools the compressed (and heated by the compression) intake
air... no turbo ...no need for an intercooler.

#1 The 2.5 turbo engine has a "nitrided" (chemically hardened) crankshaft.
#2 As someone has already inferred the 2.5 turbo has oil spray jets (that
spray from the underside of the pistons).
#3 The pistons have an internal set of of passageways that conduct the oil
spray and remove heat from the piston crowns.
#4 The turbo engine has different injector "pop off" pressure (higher).

The load enforced by the turbo (air pressure and heat coefficient along with
higher detonation pressures) will doom the N A engine to a short lifespan.
