I want to convert one of my 79 300CD, non turbo cars, to a standard. What, aside from the tranny, and components, does this require? I know I need the actual parts (which seem to be really hard to find to begin with) but do I need to change anything else along the way? Is the fuel pump, and/or throttle linkage any different? Injectors? Is the starter any different? Is there any other components, or adjustments necessary in order to make the conversion so that even the car thinks it was like that all it's life, from the factory..?
