while replacing the water pump, the belt tensioner and the shock absorber should be looked at for proper operation. In case of doubt, replace those also.
water pump only??: Took me close to 6 hours to replace mine. There are a few hard to reach bolts that will test the nerve of anyone not familiar with this operation. Don't forget to replace the little 3in. long rubber hose, between the pump and the engine block.
