Watchout!
MB had a bulletin I believe that advised against using other than the metal plug on the end. That vac plug (cap actually) can blow off anytime.
I suppose its due to the hot diesel fluid reacting with the rubber.
Keeping something on hand is a good idea regardless, and I should follow that advise, especially after my experience on the open road!
