No cable that I know of,,,, this could be a real problem. We still get an occasional older Honda that the door latch is locked and most of the time we have to cut the door apart
to get the door open. Of course then a new door has to be obtained. If I'm not mistaken there is a steel bulkhead behind the rear seat preventing you from getting into the trunk and messing with the lock from inside. Like I said,,, this could be a real problem.
