Hey all,
I have a lead on a (80-83) 300DT that the owner wants to sell. He said it runs but is dog slow on a moderate hill by his house. Said the rubber is all shot and a touch of rust (not too bad, and I believe his assessment to be honest to his best guess).

Here's the catch: the car was run for an unknown amount of time without coolant.

Now the question: How much do you think the car would be worth, and do you think it could be gimped about ~400 miles (from Malibu to Sacramento)?
Also, if the engine did not seize, could it be rehab'd to a runner without excessive cost (what kind of damage happens with minimal or no coolant on the 617?)
