The close-ups of Belmondo wildly whipping the steering wheel out of sync of the rear projection images make this clip for me. The Fiat 124, which debuted around 1966, was held in fairly high regard by the car enthusiast magazines of the day. The Russkies apparently liked it enough to produce it as the Lada.
