I survived a head-on with a Toyota B210 in a '72 124 Sport Coupe. What saved my life was the fact that the spare tire is stored in front of the driver, horizontally, above the transmission. It took most of the impact and didn't lose any air...
A few pieces of continuity were screwed up...
You could tell the chase "close-ups" at the beginning were "sound-staged" 'cause the driver didn't exhibit the normal "G-force" body twists/movement that would be associated with even everyday driving, let alone higher-than-normal parking-lot twists and turns...
Hey, at least lean a little (a little method-acting here!!!)...
The black chase car - started throwing oil long before the Fiat...
The "worry beads" in the black car - changed their hanging setup every other shot...
The Fiat "lost" its LF hub-cap, then "magically" it reappears on the car later in the chase...
A fun piece of video - not anywhere near the level of Bullit or the 7-Ups in death or destruction...
Sorta' reminded me of Milwaukee/Chicago I-94 action during rush-hour back in the 70's/80's...
