I have a post on here "300E intermittent stalling"and I reiterate this site has been great in helping. Unfortunately my brother didn't have the time and I needed my car. We determined no spark coming into cap and traced it backwards. That left coil and CPS (crankshaft position sensor). Wasn't coil - mechanic just called and said CPS - so check that.
