Having all diesel vehicles I have a couple components on the 500SE that are new to me. The first being a Webasto (engine coolant heater
). Having put a fresh battery in the SE it took this unit a couple minutes to "energize". If this is a coolant heater can it be disconnected without causing any malady to anything else. The unit underneath the part that is identified as WEBASTO is the part that sound like it's revving up.
Picture #2 is a what? Guessing some sort of Non OEM part. I was going to just yank it out but it has probably a dozen wires running to it.
