I never pushed the ALDA on the SD to the point of smoke. It's very sprightly off the line and I don't see the need to find the point of smoke. She gets close to 30 mpg now..........beat 30 on the last tank..........so, what's the benefit?

If you're pleased with the performance from a standing start..........that's all that matters.

Personally, I'm not giving up any of the fuel economy in a valiant attempt to squeeze a bit of performance off the line.
