I use it for convincing the car to do what I want it to.
Actually, I broke the head off of my rubber mallet a while back, and I needed something to pound down the carpet to ensure a good bond with the contact cement. I only lightly went over the carpet with it, as opposed to actually pounding on things. I sure hope I never have to remove this carpet, since it'll put up a heck of a fight if I ever try removing it.
