well,i only really had time to check connections and make a few atemps to start the car, did not get to check voltage but as i said the lights were bright. drove the f-150 into work today so i dont have the vin on me, but it is a 1988 420 sel . thanks for the help in advance, when i get home i will try throwing it in N to start but i think i may have done that already( i am pretty thurough in this kind of situation) I do have one more bit of info, the oil light comes on and stays on when it runs, the oil level is up,i checked it. does the sending unit affect if the car will start? like a good diesal?
