Yes, on a recent road trip I noticed that I was even more sluggish than usual off the line at altitude. But once rolling and fully spooled up on boost, my W210 diesel was awesome to drive in the mountains. At elevations about 10,000 feet I was blowing past large V8-powered cars and SUVs with no difficulty at all, and getting about 28mpg while doing it. That was probably the most fun I've had in this car yet!
