The transmissionis out, managed to do it all myself with no helper.
Tough job, but it could have been much worse.
Here she is right after I pulled her out, needs a good clean up before I open her up.
Hardest part, the driveshaft. I didn't want to disconnect it on both ends, and it needs to come out in order for the transmission to move back far enough to be detached. I had to lower the transmission enough to stick the driveshaft above it and pull it apart.
Second hardest part, the exhaust, just cause its heavy and a real pita to work with, and in my case, old and rusty.
The bolts attaching the transmission to the engine can all be reached with a really long extension and a slim 17mm socket. Just lower the transmission a bit and they all come out real easy. The rest is just pieces.
