The amp is held to a bracket with two screws. The bracket is screwed into a support under the kick panel. Don't try to remove the screws that hold the amp to the bracket. They are too tight, and access is poor.
Remove the screws that hold the bracket to the support. They come out easily. Remove the amp and bracket as an assembly.
