Maybe, my 240 had a failed wiper, sometimes, (drivers, of course) finally gave out. You may want to inspect, you'll have to remove the intake grilles, and the center piece, a couple of screws, and four, I think, plastic rivets. The hold down pieces for the grilles are tricky to deal with. I just punched 'em through and never did get around to replace, that car died. Those pieces I bought from the dealership for a whopping $0.18 each.
