Just do not kid yourself that you are making rational, logiocal arguments. Your conclusion is that Rush is a villian, therefore you require that everything he does is evil.
Rush has been promoting this charity with a special day every year for quite a while. You don't know about it because no one in the old media covers it; it does not promote the story line that Rush is evil.
Reid, and the dems were clearly in the wromg on this issue. Maybe when the US Senate ( or at least a partisan faction of it) tries to intimidate you, you will the inappropriateness of their action. And if that ever happens, I will be at your side, arguing that it was a tremendous abuse of power--provided I have not already been silenced.
Remember, you must protect the speech that you hate, or there is no such thing a freedom of speech.
