I'm new to mercedes is there a engine light that I can short out to count flashes like some other imports. I have a snap on scanner 2500 but not w// the m-b module is there a OBDII port on the MB for a generic code scan or can I use a test light and count blinks some where.. Does the E420 use a speed sensor or is the speed transmitter behind the spedo responsible for it all. I have read that the e420's ans e500 are a little different than other E and S class when equipped with a V8
