Could be a crack in the circuit board of the fuel relay. If so buy new relay or repair the crack with solder and iron. Momentum while braking can cause crack to open and relay stops sending fuel to cylinders. When stopped there is no longer momentum force to circuit board and crack closes again , electrical flow resumes and engine becomes functional once more.
