All I am saying about this guy that started the thread is that Mercedes is protecting their pricing structure both here and abroad. He is mad that they are doing that. Well maybe not mad, but he is ranting about it.

Yes, I see now. I mean, I protect all of my investments also, and I don't blame manufacturers for doing it also. I mean, There could be major trouble for a manufacturer if they don't. I don't see what his gripe is about. It stabilizes economies. If they didn't do it that way, then who knows where prices would be for things.
Another thing about my friends Harley sale to the Japanese guy....It was sold on Ebay, taxes were paid, and it was already considered "Used". I'm sure that if he were a dealer, he would not have been able to sell a "Brand-New" Harley, to someone over-seas as easily.
