No, it's not illegal at all. But I think that is why Mercedes Benz doesn't give out the Certificate of Origin, it is probably needed to ship overseas. I knew a guy a few years back that loaded a container up with snowmobiles and shipped them overseas. He made a pile of money, but said that it was almost more of a pain in the arse than it was worth.
All I am saying about this guy that started the thread is that Mercedes is protecting their pricing structure both here and abroad. He is mad that they are doing that. Well maybe not mad, but he is ranting about it.
