From what other people are saying it sounds like the o-rings are the culprits. Since my fuel lines seems to be kind of hard (all originals) plus they don't cost that much so they're getting done on my car.

Also, found this post. Scroll halfway down the first page and Rick Miley posted just about everything you'll need w/ MB parts #'s. It's for a 99 E300 and has gaskets as well.
