well here are some liquid measurements.

engine oil initial filling approx ltr 8.5 us qt 9

oil and filter change ltr 7.5 us qt 7.9

oil pan up to markings on dip stk ltr 6.0/4.5 us qt 6.3/4.7

oil filter ltr 1.5 us qt 1.6

cooling system with heater ltr 12.5 us qt 13.2

auto trans initial filling fluid change ltr 7.3/6.2 us qt 7.7/6.5

rear axle ltr 1 us qt 2.1

power steering ltr 1.4 us qt 3.0

OK, here are some torq figures. some one might chime in if Iam off a bit
but here are some I wrote down when I did my engine swap. the oil pan
was already on the engine, so don`t have those.

torq converter drain bolt 10 ft# 14nm

auto trans pan bolts 5.2 ft#

drain plug 10 ft# 14nm

Metric thread suzes
m6 6 - 9 ft#
m8 14 - 21 ft#
m10 28 - 40 ft#
m12 50 - 71 ft#
m14 8- - 140 ft#

to convert inch lbs to foot lbs, divide the inch lbs by 12

to convert foot lbs to inch lbs, multiply by 12

there were three HP ratings on the OM616...

1) Not much power
2) Even less power
3) Not nearly enough power!! 240D w/auto

Anyone that thinks a 240D is slow drives too fast.
