the inside rearview mirror is on a ball and socket. I changed it yesterday from one at PNP. mine looked like the backside of the mirror was dirty. If you hit the stem of the mirror it will pop out of the bracket it sits in. I hit it with the heal of my hand.
the mirror will come out off the ball with a twist. getting it back in I layed the mirror face down and whacked the stem with a dead blow hammer and it popped in. the reason I had to go through this, the PNP one had the stem at a different angle and could`t adjust the mirror far enough up.
