The SD continues to show elevated sodium and potassium even though it doesn't use one drop of coolant (new head and gasket). No sign of glycol in the oil.

The SDL ('86) also shows similar elevated levels without any coolant loss.

My conclusion is that the Rotella synthetic is the contributor to these levels in some way.
