On the third figure, how can you have less consumption in liters per 100 km/h and achieve less MPG?

You are correct.
I was looking at a table for several cars when I did this and I mistakenly quoted two different sets of numbers. The metric numbers I listed previously are for a 240TD with a 5-speed manual transmission.
The mpg figures I listed are the correct ones for a 240TD automatic.
So here are the correct numbers:
240 5-speed manual:
9.5 L per 100 km in Urban Driving
6.3 L per 100 km at 90 km/hr (continuous speed)
8.7 L per 100 km at 120 km/hr (continuous speed)
24.76 mpg city
37.34 mpg at 56 mph
27.04 mpg at 75 mph
240TD automatic
9.5 L per 100 km in Urban Driving
7.7 L per 100 km at 90 km/hr (continuous speed)
10.6 L per 100 km at 120 km/hr (continuous speed)
24.76 mpg city
30.55 mpg at 56 mph
22.19 mpg at 75 mph
I will edit the original post to avoid confusion in the future.
