Can I simply move the two folders over to the internal hard drive of the replacement PC? I want to keep this replacement PC as the host or main location for the library of music files. Any pointers on how to set up the PC to support the iPod in place of the former (now dead) PC?
I had a similar issue when upgrading my PC. I installed iTunes fresh on the new drive and it found my old library on the old drive. After it finished importing everything, I deleted the old files. Can't remember if it prompted me or found the library itself, but I think it did it automatically.
