For those remember; I lost my Emily back in Christmas and I miss her terribly everyday. So this is totally without my knowledge. My girlfriend had been visiting Shih Tzu breeders all over the surrounding States and finally found one she thought would be a good match for me. So this morning she drove up to PA and picked up this 7-week old puppy and brought her to my house. After the the initial shock (well a little angry as well because I have no plan for a new puppy in my life any time soon), I took Niki shopping, showed her around her new home, and took her around the yard. She already learned a couple of commands and seemed to adjust well. I have to take her to the vet Monday to have her checked out and schedule for all her shots.

I have mixed feelings about replacing Emily so soon, but I also know what a bundle of joy these fur babies can bring. Surely my house feels more lively now. Here are a couple of pictures of my newly delivered "baby girl".
