Where I really notice, and like, the downshifting is approaching a stop sign or light. It's a very nice feel. We have had two other ML's that did not do it, nor does our 1978 diesel.

Today is a scouting trip to see if the salt was washed off the roads so we can take the 300SD out for the season.
