Perfectly good WVO? Sure, if you call screwing up your car with a WVO conversion "perfectly good." Just look at that tangle of fuel and coolant hoses.

The sodium hydroxide and methanol are added to precipitate all the sludge that would otherwise end up in the engine if straight WVO was burned, as was the case with that TDI ^^^ up there.

For the record, I've never had a single plugged filter between three different diesels, each going straight from petrol to B100.


And yes, the CDI/Bluetec is safe from WVO, that stuff will screw up the high pressure injection......PD TDI's (04 and newer) are also safe.
