The existing lamps were incredibly yellowed and cloudy from the AZ sun, enough that the lighting was much worse than any halogen. They had be replaced, and instead of paying $800 or so for just for lens covers, I decided to go with the entire european HIDs assembly at Bekkers. I am personally very happy with the difference, but admittedly, anything was an improvement and the new ones were on the spendy side, at about $1350 for the pair. (I have just noticed that they are now at $1500 for the pair, perhaps due to the weak dollar.)
Anyone out there know what exactly the difference is between the NA and Euro units is? I know European spec xenons are generally "better" than NA for visibility, but why?
