Vacuum Line Identification

Hello Folks,

I am hoping that I can get some help from somebody in the know to identify a vacuum line that I removed during an engine swap and can't for the life of me remember where it plugs in. The engine is now running but won't shut off and I am at a loss. I have attached a pic of the offending vacuum line for your reference. Please help!

Car is a 1982 240D with a manual transmission.

FYI: I did do a search on this topic but was not able to find anything. Maybe I am just terrible at searching, either that or there is a thread out there. If somebody knows of one please let me know.
