You can probably get this out if you dislodge the bottom 3/4 of the door panel, leaving the top still attached. The top is the hardest part to get out and back in, by far.

There are a couple of plastic clips holding the switch in place. If you can get your finger to one of them, you can easily get that switch to come out. The switch comes out toward the interior of the car.
