there is no POSITIVE sure fire way to test a compressor that is easy.
a simple test to eliminate a seized compressor is to grasp the center clutch mechanism and see if it turns freely. not the belt section of the clutch but the center part on the end.
the only way to positively test a compressor is to pop it loose and inspect it for debris, then get the correct amount of oil in the system and see what kind of pressures it builds with the correct volume of refrigerant in a clean system.
