It used to happen about once every 6 months, but now I have had the dreaded sudden engine stall 3 times in 2 days.

The first two times I was stopped, the most recent, I was driving at speed.

I have a spare fuel pump relay, and a spare OVP....

However my OVP is one of the original types with only 1 10 amp fuse.. that has been superceded by the two fuse type.

I haven't taken any action yet... I will probably exchange the fuel pump relay tonight..and see if that takes care of the issue.

I have done the search and these two relays seem to be the source of the issue..

OH.... the only other thing is that when i go to start the engine up... the tach jumps initially, even thought the engine is just turning.

i am usually successful at getting the engine to restart in about 30 seconds or about 3-4 tries.
