Cool Interesting possibility....

I don't know about the AC yet.....the center of the dash is in shambles....I was installing that section complete with AC controls (from the parts car) when the plug that the sliding fan control is attached to disintegrated.....I have the other one.....need to rebuild the pin connector and then try the AC.....the unit seems to have power......

from what you say, if I get the AC controls working then I've got a good chance of getting the Tach back......
