Pleasing Deutschebank and Kirk Kerkorian is what they need to do. Everything else is secondary. The way smaller car companies are being gobbled up by the big guys, this is the only way DC is going to survive.
Sometimes I wonder if we, as shareholders, are responsible for all these layoffs and bankruptcies. Few weeks ago my wife's company came out with a revised forecast. Instead of little over $2 a share in earnings they revised it down to $1.83 or so. The stock immediately lost 10%. It has since recovered to the level it was before the revision. Some E-companies just hint that they aren't going to lose money this year and all of a sudden their stock rockets. I tellya, this doesn't make any sense. Where's the common sense these days?
