My parents have 4 boys, my twin and I are the youngest (20 next month), with a 22 and 25 year old brothers.
When we were all younger (still today, somewhat
), when they were out of town, our house was a MOB of kids all day and all night until my parents got back. Since we had an older brother, my parents rarely had someone else watch us. But my oldest brother was always the one to instigate the party, spurring my other brothers and myself to invite everyone over. There were so many OUT OF CONTROL partys at "THE FRAC HOUSE" you wouldn't even believe. I remember one time hearing RUN RUN and a few people and I ran and hid in my closet as police men ran throughout the house!
Surprisingly, my parent's didn't find out most of the time, or didn't mind most of the time. As we got older (well somewhat), the parties died down, parent's don't mind at all, and things are pretty good.
My brothers and I are all EXTREMELY clean and organized people... IN the last few years, they know we wouldn't do anything too out of control (
) and trust us to ensure the house is in good condition for the housekeepers!
I am lucky to have good parents... I had my fair share AND THEN SOME of trouble in the past, in addition to 3 other brothers!
