I dont know where to start but i need a new good car that would last me another 20 years with a decent mpg and a wvo conversion option in the future

1 : 1987 300e turbo diesel 189k miles grey/grey every thing works except the trip meter ( odometer rolls fine i drove it for a couple of miles )
older man owned it died now his wife selling it one owner car she said was never serviced out of westchester pa benz dealer up to date on all records but she does not have the paper to proof it ( clean autocheck )

2 : 1997 300e diesel 118k miles blue/beige everything works two rear end hits one on each side ( showing on autocheck ) this is sold at a local dealer and they have no records at all either but the car tells how well kept it was too


first car is 4000 second one is 7900 thats the prices i can pay after all talk and low balling already both cars drive well other than they are pretty slow and slugish ( i guess this is how diesel benz is )

the wife wants me to get the new one since she likes it the older one is my first choice but i am not sure if its too old and too high miles to buy
