As for the sub it is a JL 10w6 in a really shallow box @ 3/4 cu ft the box is rectangular and fits up through the shelf ( yes metal was cut out to allow this) The box only hangs down about 6 inches into the trunk. I would post pics but my camera is at work. I can tomorrow night. As for the Kenwood box I have not tried it out Clarion also makes one and it might fit, it might be worth a try.
